Hello, everyone! Another third of November has bit the dust!
Let me give you a blow-by-blow and celebrate my progress on each of what I’ve been working on:
Reading Christine:
I’ve read all of Part One like a reader, and at the time of writing this, I’ve finished reading Chapter 25, the 6th chapter of Part Two!
I’ll start reading Part One like a writer tonight, and my Part One Analysis post will come out hopefully Sunday evening.
I’ll be finished reading Part One like a writer by then, and finished reading Part Two like a reader the day before, starting on Part Three.
Writing Car Gone Rogue:
This third of November has been my best part of November yet!
Watching 2 Fast and Furious movies really helped, as well as getting reintroduced to the concept of a zero draft!
In fact, on November 20, I outlined the 5 major turning points—–or Five Foundational Beats, for those of you who have heard of Save the Cat—-Catalyst, Break into 2, Midpoint, All is Lost, and Break into 3—-for each of my 3 POV characters.
In fact, starting today (November 21), I’m working on the zero draft with the goal to write at least 37,500 words by the end of next Wednesday—November 27.
I’m so excited! I really think it’ll go well!
October Johnson Season 1:
On November 18, I started fleshing out the plot for Book 1, as well as the character arc for my protagonist!
I also started a four-corner opposition for my protagonist and his three opponents in the story, just as I did for Car Gone Rogue, but differently.
Comment to ask me what that means!
CONCLUSION
Overall, I’m excited to finish this month, finish Christine, and my three writing projects strong!
My Writing Passion is a Candle will also finally get worked on in the last third of November 2024!
Stay tuned for more!
