Hello, everyone!
If you’ve been following along, you’ll know that last Wednesday I launched Brave New Week, a multi-part blog series that is going to dive into Captain America: Brave New World and The Batman, essentially being an extended pilot to my 2020s Sequel Curse Series.
But after sitting with the low views and the lack of response, I decided to make a small but important change.
Instead of cramming all four posts into one hectic week, I’m stretching Brave New Week across six weeks—with new posts coming every other Thursday.
Why?
- I have another things on this blog that I want to talk about—like book reviews and writing updates. This is why I initially wanted to wrap up Brave New Week as fast as possible.
- Great conversations deserve space. And with several exciting projects and real life happening in the background, I want each post to get the time and visibility it deserves.
Here’s the new release schedule:
| Day | Post Title | New Release Date |
|---|---|---|
| ✅ Day One | The Batman vs. Captain America 4 | June 18 (LIVE) |
| 🔜 Day Two | A B- Movie, But a D+ Captain America Sequel | July 3 |
| Day Three | The Batman (2022) Review | July 17 |
| Day Four | How Brave New World Could’ve Actually Worked | July 31 |
Haven’t Read Day One Yet?
No problem!

Thanks for your patience, and I hope this updated schedule makes Brave New Week something to look forward to—on your own time.
Because one thing’s clear:
The future of superhero storytelling?
Deserves more than just one week.
See you July 3rd for Day Two—maybe sooner!
