
Hello, everyone! For this next entry in my A-Z Poetic Soundtrack Series---I want to introduce y'all to a new type of acrostic---Freestich Acrostic.
Definition: A poetic or prose form in which the letters of a word or phrase are embedded anywhere within each line of the text — not restricted to the beginning, end, or middle.
Anyway, let's get into the poem!
It’s about time the game is played because
If Nothing is ventured, except for a
Deal with the deVil, then nothing is gained,
A lesson for thIs life needed to be learned,
A missive of a machinatioN needs to be earned.
This must come as a shoCk, but the name
Of the game Is supposed to
Be as easy as this:
Win or Lose, you stayed and played
And didn’t ask, “What have I donE?”
