Hello everyone!
It’s been 6 months since I’ve done an individual round up post of a single moment in my journey, but thought now would be a good time as any.
But one month ago, I did a roundup post of the middle six months in my journey from April to September. And in that post I set out a vision for how I wanted the last three months of 2025 to look like. And in this post, I intend to tell you how my progress is in making that vision come to life.
Let’s get into it!
WRITING
In October, I took a pause from officially drafting can you spell werewolf? So that I could figure out certain integral elements to make the drafting process a lot smoother, like character building and world building. Both elements are a lot more figured out. So I decided to resume/restart this novel with the intent to finish this this entire draft by the end of this month.
But as my Milwordy announcement post said, I announced my intent to write 1,000,000 words starting November 1st, and I intend to not only get draft 2 of Can You Spell Werewolf? done by the end of the month but also make good progress on another serialized novel, A Speller’s Genesis, which is connected to Can You Spell Werewolf?
It was my fifth Wattpad anniversary on October 26, so four days later, I posted a Halloween special short story called Halloween Warfare.
READING
I’m still not doing a very good job of reading or reviewing very much but I did buy the new John Grisham novel The Widow, which I’m 24% finished with.
COMMUNITY
Low growth in this area.
AUDIO
The only audioblog episodes that have been posted are the episodes that are adapting the gone girl rant series post from September 2024. And only episode 1 is posted on the website, the rest are on Substack, YouTube, and various podcasts platforms.

But on a unrelated note, I am 20 years old now as of October 8!
WRAP-UP
That being said, I intend to make November an excellent, exciting month, in my reading, writing, and blogging journeys. I am striving to improve my shortcomings in each of these areas and finally get to the version of myself that I want to reach at the end of the year.
