Welcome back to my blog!
Yesterday, I posted a reflection and recap of December, but in this post, I’m going to say goodbye to 2025 one last time.
One year ago, I wasn’t even posting on this website because I had this insane plan that I was going to take a hiatus from posting all to atone from a financial mistake that I made in a moment of anger and vulnerability.
Thankfully, I decided to stop punishing myself in March 29, 2025.
That is one of the many things I’m proud of as a creator, reader, and writer in 2025.
Here are the others:
2025 WINS:
- January: finished planning out my first YA urban fantasy novel, Can You Spell Werewolf?, after four school years, went to
- Feburary: started the rough draft of Can You Spell Werewolf?
- March: All ready stated above, but also first time I ever worked on a writing project on a plane (it was during spring break)
- April: Participated in the 2025 A-TO-Z Challenge while combining it with my 2nd NaPoWrimo (but 1st one of my website)
- May: Finished Can You Spell Werewolf? on May 20
- June: Read the highest amount of books in a month this month.
- July: Started posting chapters of The Dynamic Detectives: The D.C. Double Dilemma (attempt 1) and started a second website, which I’m slowly moving and retooling into my Substack
- August: Finally wrote the first chapter of Draft 2 of Can You Spell Werewolf? and reached 25 subscribers on my first author website and 100 followers on Wattpad.
- September: Suspended writing and posting The D.C. Double Dilemma across all platforms. Drafted 27 chapters of Can You Spell Werewolf?, Draft 2, version 2.0. Posted two non-soundtrack poems and hosted a writing prompt for the first time to celebrate hitting 100 posts on this website:
- October: Posted the announcement of me announcement to start my Milwordy Challenge on October 20th, posted a Halloween short story on Wattpad called Halloween Warfare to celebrate my 5th Wattpad Anniversary. Started a podcast called The Mystery & Media Mic, and posted 3 episodes only in October and ever adapting my Why Gone Girl Is Worse Than You Think Series to audio.
- November: Restarted my Can You Spell Werewolf? Draft 2 AND my started my A Speller’s Genesis project to officially kick off my MilWordy Challenge. Attended to my first author event, which was the book signing of Chloe Gong’s book, Coldwire. It was so exciting to meet another author and talk to them for a little bit. Posted the most consistently on social media
- December: Passed the 100-follower mark on Instagram, celebrated my 10th author anniversary, and regained my writing momentum in the second half of December, even more than the second half of November. Also, first time in five months that I finished a book.

1.Write 200,000 words in January, which will include:
- Finish Draft 2 of Can You Spell Werewolf? by January 19
- Drafting ALL of A Speller’s Genesis (which will be launched in 4 days) by January 31st, 2025
- (Starting) Planning and outlining my other projects, The Dynamic Detectives series and its 1st book , most of all
2. Read and review 3 serialized books and 3 non-serialized books by the end of the month.
WRAP-UP
I’m excited for this new year, this new MONTH.
There’s going to be a lot of changes in my life coming up in 2026, but I know that most of these changes are going to challenge me and grow me into the person that I was always meant to be.
